You should expect some features in any Traxxas RC car: ruggedness, durability, power, and fun. The Crawler is no exception; it is built for rugged off-road terrains. The TRX-4 Scale and Trail Crawler has a length of 23.07 inches, a height of 11.48 inches, and a weight of 7.43 pounds.

The front track of the Crawler is 9.78 inches, and the rear track is also 9.78 inches. It has a ground clearance of 3.14 inches and a wheelbase of 12.75 inches. The front and rear shock lengths are 3.54 inches each, and the approach angle is 56.49°. The break-over angle is 57°, and the departure angle is 41.67°.

The size of the front wheels is 1.9 x 1.02 inches, as well as the rear wheels. The front and rear tires are 4.64 x 1.89 inches in size. The speed control of the Crawler is XL-5 HV. It uses a High-torque brushed motor that weighs 390 grams, a voltage of 16.8 volts, and 21T reverse rotation turns.

The input voltage of the electronic speed controller (ESC) is 6–7 Cells NiMH, 2–3S LiPo, the ESC weighs 74 grams, it has a breaking current of 60 amperes, a continuous current of 18 amperes, the forward peak current is 100 amperes, the reverse peak current is also 100 amperes.

The Crawler is designed to have a rugged and functional roll cage, tough fender flares, and the ESC is completely waterproof. The front bumpers are designed with replica winch and tow hooks, and the rear bumpers are equipped with functional spare tire and scale accessories. This RC car can reach a top speed of over 50 mph.
