Final Thoughts

New Jersey is one of the states where riding an ATV on public trails is an offense. Nevertheless, ATV riding is still a very popular activity in the state, and many riders have found a way to operate on undocumented off-road trails.

This is the alternative most ATV riders choose rather than signing up for a membership with one of the private parks. If you are not a resident of New Jersey, it is best to make inquiries about any of the private parks, so you can ride an ATV lawfully. There are many risks involved when you ride on undocumented trails, so staying safe is the best option.
